Town initiates a survey of area where there are beetle problems
Sends out letters to approx 1400 property owners
GPS all properties where there are noted infestations
Will Blue X all the trees, owner must cut down
Town will pick up and chip
Town plans to resurvey this fall
Planner or Public Works go out and makes contacts
Class D permit is required for owner to cut - fee waived for beetle
Breckenridge sprays and removes all their own trees, approx. $60 K this year
